Purpose of Corporation
The Ottawa Indo-Canadians Association (OICA) is a vibrant not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving the Indo-Canadian community in Ottawa and beyond. With a wide range of activities spanning cultural events, networking and social gatherings, educational programs, community outreach, sports and recreation, festivals and celebrations, advocacy and support, youth engagement, business and professional networking, art and literature promotion, bilateral relations, and connecting Indo-Canadians to the mainstream, OICA has become a cornerstone of the Indo-Canadian experience in the nation’s capital.

Our Youth Engagement Service empowers young people through mentorship, skills workshops, and community projects, fostering growth and responsibility. We connect youth with resources and networks to achieve goals and positively impact communities.

Art and Literature promotion
Our Art and Literature Promotion Service celebrates creativity through workshops, exhibitions, and readings. We support artists and writers, inspire community engagement, and cultivate appreciation for diverse artistic and literary expressions.
Networking and social events
Our Networking and Social Events foster meaningful connections through gatherings, workshops, and forums. We create spaces for individuals to exchange ideas, build relationships, and collaborate, enriching both personal and professional networks.

What an incredible Holi celebration! The vibrant colors and joyous energy brought our community together like never before. Thank you to the Ottawa Indo-Canadians Association for organizing such a memorable event!
Diwali with OICA was a truly magical experience. The lights, music, and food captured the spirit of the festival so well. We felt connected to our roots and to our community here in Ottawa!
The Independence Day event was fantastic! From the flag hoisting to the cultural performances, it was a great way to honor India's heritage while celebrating with the next generation.
We loved celebrating Republic Day with everyone! The speeches, parade, and patriotic songs filled us with pride. Kudos to the team for putting together such a well-organized event!
The Chandrayaan landing celebration was inspirational! OICA made us feel like we were part of India's success in space exploration. Thank you for sharing this historic moment with the community!
